Russian restaurants are hard to come by, and lone ranger Samovar is tucked away round the back of Solaris Mont Kiara. You’ll already feel in a different world sitting at the balcony-side tables decked in ethnic throws and sparkly fairy lights. Try the beef dumplings (pelmeti) or chicken wrapped in pancakes (blinchiki) for a quick nibble. If you’re in the mood for serious eating, order the Golubtzi – proper Russian style cabbage wrapped meat.
