Located in a suburb swamped with fine dining establishments, Sri Nirwana Maju certainly is no pushover. Admittedly, their cramped quarters and slightly stuffy environment might lose some admirers but a true food connoisseur would not hold anything against it. This is because Sri Nirwana Maju offers one of the most delectable (and reasonable) banana leaf rice in KL. The vegetarian sides are nothing spectacular but the deep fried calamari topped with curry leaves and chilli is a taste to behold. The attentive service will ensure your banana leaf won’t stay empty for long before being promptly topped up again.

Sri Nirwana Maju has a separate outlet along Jalan Telawi, Bangsar.
