This shop does a fine thosai and an admirable idli, but the real draw here are the northern-style chat (snacks) served only after 4pm. The puri (small hollow puffs of rice filled with yogurt or paneer cheese or chickpeas, topped with crispies and doused with a chilli-tamarind-mint sauce) are a fantastic meld of tastes and textures. Fruit salad sounds dull but dazzles with its fiery mint-cilantro dressing.
