Full Description
The best of the eateries behind Berjaya Times Square serving mainland-style (ie. unaltered to suit milder, sweeter Malaysian palates) Chinese food. The northern Chinese provenance of the family that runs this place comes through in dishes like shuijiao (plump boiled dumplings stuffed with lamb, pork or vegetables), dao shao mian (thick, unevenly hand cut noodles in a rich pork broth), and xiangla xiaopai (baby spareribs stir-fried with dried chillies, Sichuan peppercorns, and Chinese celery). The jiachang liangcai, a salad of cilantro sprigs and red pepper strips dressed with sesame oil and salt, is a palate cleansing surprise.
