Full Description
The restaurant serves translucent-skinned dumplings studded with an assortment of toppings including bacon, scallop and shrimp. The bacon dim sum – wrapped around juicy prawns and fish paste – is steamed purely in its own essence. Their golden custard buns stand up to the example set in Hong Kong – once punctured, liquefied egg yolk spills like hot lava. Kam Hin’s char siew bao disappear at a rate faster than the sifu could make them, and patrons never hesitate at the sight of siu mai and har gao bundled with generous shrimps. Grab them swiftly because crowds don’t thin out here. Prices start from RM4.50 per plate.
