share of the credit card market by 2017, says its Retail Banking Director, Vince Au Yoong.
“Currently RHB Bank, which has 500,000 credit card holders, enjoys a market share of six per cent.
“From January to August this year RHB Bank recorded a 16 per cent increase in the number of new credit cards issued,” he said at the rebranding launch of its RHB EVO Credit Card, first introduced in 2002.
Au Yoong said with the relaunch, RHB Bank expects to sign up 40,000 new RHB EVO credit card holders in the next 12 months in addition to the 60,000 cards already in circulation.
“The re-launch of RHB EVO credit card reflects our continuous commitment to offer consumers rewarding products relevant to their needs and in more ways than one, will enhance their lifestyle,” he added. — BERNAMA
