A very good Chinese steamboat restaurant in KL’s oldest hotel, Federal KL on Jalan Bukit Bintang. YiQi is one of the more affordable and good value in this bracket, with a cosy, comparatively informal atmosphere.
Among the favourite dishes are the Xiu Long Bao, Octopus  ball, Sa-toh fish ball, Spinach porridge, Foo-kuen with beancurd rolls, Deep-fried ginger chicken, Paper-wrapped chicken, and fried chicken skin.

For the perfect meal, start off with shrimp wantons and carry on to the teo-cheow succulent duck. For vegetarians, check out the Yong Tau Foo with stuffed brinjals.
